Usage Policy
Effective March 16, 2026
Purpose
This Usage Policy defines acceptable and prohibited uses of GEM²-AI services, including the TPMN Checker, the GEM²-AI platform, and the gemsquared.ai website (collectively, the “Service”). This policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service.
Permitted Uses
The Service is designed for:
- •Verifying AI-generated content for epistemic reliability
- •Detecting overclaims, extrapolations, and unsupported assertions in AI outputs
- •Improving content quality through truth-score analysis and compositional refinement
- •Building workflows that incorporate verification as a quality gate
- •Research and educational use of the TPMN specification
Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to:
Reverse Engineering
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, algorithms, or scoring models of the Service.
Fabricated Scores
Misrepresent, fabricate, or manipulate truth scores or verification results. This includes presenting modified scores as genuine GEM²-AI outputs.
Deception
Use the Service to create misleading content, generate false endorsements, or produce outputs designed to deceive third parties about the reliability of AI-generated content.
Scraping & Automated Abuse
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal API usage. This includes circumventing rate limits, creating multiple accounts to bypass quotas, or using the Service in ways that degrade performance for other users.
Circumvention
Attempt to bypass security measures, authentication controls, rate limits, or access restrictions of the Service.
Rate Limits
The Service enforces rate limits to ensure fair access:

Rate limits reset daily at midnight UTC. Exceeding rate limits will result in HTTP 429 responses until the next reset. Repeated or intentional circumvention may result in account suspension.
High-Risk Domains
If you use the Service to verify content in medical, legal, or financial domains, you must ensure that a qualified human professional reviews the output before any consequential decisions are made. The Service provides indicators, not certifications. Truth scores in high-risk domains should be treated as one input among many, not as a definitive assessment.
Enforcement
Violations of this policy are addressed through escalating measures:
Throttling
Reduced rate limits as a first-level response.
Suspension
Temporary account suspension with notice.
Termination
Permanent account termination for severe or repeated violations.
Reporting Violations
If you believe someone is violating this policy, please report it to david@gemsquared.ai. Include relevant details and evidence where possible.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Usage Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
