Terms of Service
Effective March 16, 2026
1. Service Description
GEM²-AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides AI output verification services through the TPMN Checker, the GEM²-AI platform, and the gemsquared.ai website (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you (“you” or “User”) agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Account Creation
Some features of the Service require an account. You may register using OAuth (GitHub or Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
3. Tiers & Billing
The Service offers the following tiers:
Free Tier
Up to 30 checks per day. No payment required.
Pro Tier — $9/month
Up to 100 checks per day. Billed monthly.
We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and take effect at the end of the billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
4. Content Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you submit to and receive from the Service, including prompts, outputs, and analysis results. We claim no rights over your content.
We do not use your content to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. Your content is processed solely to provide the requested verification service and is not retained beyond the request lifecycle.
5. API Keys & BYO-Compute
The TPMN Checker operates on a BYO-Compute (Bring Your Own Compute) model. You provide your own LLM API keys (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google). You are responsible for all charges incurred with your LLM provider. We are not liable for costs resulting from your use of third-party APIs.
6. Accuracy Disclaimers
The Service provides AI-assisted verification. It does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any output. Truth scores, epistemic tags, and verification results are indicators, not certifications. You should not rely on the Service as the sole basis for decisions in critical domains (medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical applications).
7. Acceptable Use
Your use of the Service is subject to our Usage Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Violations of the Usage Policy may result in throttling, suspension, or termination of your account.

GEM²-AI Platform
Proprietary software. All rights reserved. The Service, its code, design, and documentation are owned by GEM² Co. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to factors beyond our control (including third-party LLM provider outages). We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or the Usage Policy. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive termination.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GEM² CO.'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IF YOU ARE ON THE FREE TIER, OUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS $0.
WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GEM² Co. and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
